A good majority of Japanese firms is not satisfied with the government’s $1 trillion COVID-19 stimulus. Last week Prime Minister Shinzo Abe declared an economic stimulus package which is equal to nearly 20% of economic output. 108 trillion yen package comprises of cash payouts worth more than 6 trillion yen to households and small and medium size firms.
46% of Japanese firms think it is not enough. 29% believes it to be unsatisfactory.
