Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, King Salman’s son, is the Saudi electricity minister
Reuters reports on comments from the minister rejecting claims made via Russia that Saudi Arabia withdrew from a deal to cut output remaining month:
“The Russian Minister of Energy was the primary to claim to the media that each one the taking part nations are absolved in their commitments beginning from the primary of April, leading to the choice that the countries have taken to raise their manufacturing to offset the lower expenses and atone for their loss of returns”
I know this is probably a hair-split but that quote does not simply refer to who withdrew from any deal first. Regardless, its a reminder of ongoing tension between the two huge producers.
