PSU Banks’ shares trade higher

PSU banks’s shares traded profit in Wednesday’s session.
The top gainers were- shares of Canara Bank (up 9.21%), Punjab & Sind Bank (up 8.98%), Bank of Baroda (up 8.65%), Punjab National Bank (up 6.45%), UCO Bank (up 5.75%), Union Bank of India (up 5.64%), J & K Bank (up 4.%), Indian Bank (up 4.7 per cent% per cent), Central Bank (up 4.12%) and Bank of Maharashtra (up 2.84%).
The Nifty PSU Bank index was trading 6.28% high at 1240.1 around 02:18 PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty 50 index was up 193.25 points at 9389.8 , while the BSE Sensex was up 650.45 points at 32021.57 .
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 43 were trading in the green, while 7 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, BHEL, Vedanta , SBI NSE 5.56 %, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Bank of Baroda, Tata Power and Ashok Leyland were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
